August 1, 2022 - Starting August 3, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario has changed the COVID-19 guidance. Enclosed operators are no longer required for patients who have screened or tested negative for COVID-19. Masks are still required for all patients while in the office. 

March 11, 2022 - The Ontario Provincial Government recently announced it is removing indoor masking mandates for many businesses on March 21, 2022. The RCDSO has not changed its safety guidelines. We will continue the requirement of facemasks when entering our clinic for the safety and comfort of all our patients and staff until the RCDSO changes guidelines. We will also continue strict cleaning and safety protocols to help keep everyone safe.

September 14, 2021 - The provincial government announced the release of regulations and guidance for businesses and organizations to support them in implementing proof of vaccination requirements, which take effect on September 22, 2021. The Ontario Dental Association has announced that patients are not required to provide proof of vaccination when attending a dental appointment. 

February 1, 2021 - As per the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, dental services are permitted to continue during this second province-wide State of Emergency. We have received new guidelines and implemented new infection control protocols to ensure our patients and staff feel safe.

• When you call our dental office, we will ask you for information regarding your situation, including whether you have recently travelled outside Canada or have any COVID-19 symptoms, and advise you about the next steps.
• All patients will receive an email or text with a COVID-19 form to complete and sign before their dental visit.
• If you need us to make specific arrangements for your visit, please let us know in advance. 

We have implemented a new process to check in our patients to keep you and our staff safe.

Please follow these instructions when you visit our office:

• All patients and guests must wear a mask. A mask can be provided at reception if needed. 
• All patients are asked to call the office to check in from their car or building lobby.
• All patients will be required to perform hand hygiene using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water when they enter the office.
• The patients' and guests' temperatures will be taken and recorded at their arrival.
• Patients are not allowed to bring a guest to their appointment unless it is necessary.
• If you are bringing more than one guest, please inform our reception in advance.
• Children can bring one parent to their appointment.
• Walk-in appointments are not allowed.

Because your safety and the safety of our staff is our number one priority, we have acquired new technology and retrofitted our office with special equipment to keep you feeling safe.
