Dr. Somayeh Nourian has been practicing dentistry in the GTA for over fourteen years. She is an innovator in general dentistry, performing cosmetic and laser dentistry, gum surgeries, wisdom teeth extraction, implant dentistry, and pediatric dentistry. She is licensed to perform IV sedation for anxious patients and has experience in smile makeover using Invisalign and veneers.
Subsequent to her studies, she completed a year of General Practice Residency at Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital, where she took part in many intricate oral surgery procedures. Her residency also included treating patients of a broad range of age, health, and ethnic backgrounds.
She has also participated in a program aimed at providing dental care to isolated Aboriginal communities in Moose Factory.
Her in-depth knowledge of dentistry combined with her humanitarian spirit proved to be an invaluable asset when treating less fortunate patients during her residency.
Dr. Somayeh Nourian entered the prestigious University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry with a GPA of 4.0 and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006.
Dr. Somayeh Nourian’s passion for dentistry took root as a child and her continued fascination with the field propelled her to pursue her degree in dentistry. Due to her academic excellence, Dr. Somayeh Nourian completed high school at the young age of 16 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa with honours.
